Active ingredients in khadi Natural Hair Color Henna, Amla & Jatropha:

Henna has a soothing and healing effect on your scalp. The intense, red-yellow dye is obtained from the grated stems and leaves of the henna shrub. It envelops your hair nurturing, providing fiery reflections, which shine in light and dark hair.

Amla, the Indian gooseberry, contains a lot of vitamin C. The fine powder from the fruit increases the luminous color of the henna. Amla strengthens your hair and roots. It is resilient and voluminous – you can feel it.

Jatropha is an evergreen plant from India. The dye is obtained from their bark. The dark decoction from the Jatropha powder in khadi Henna, Amla & Jatropha also colors medium to dark hair to an intense mahogany tone.

How to use it?

1. Wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo, check out khadi Shampoos. Khadi recommends to pre-treat with khadi Senna / Cassia, Golden Hint or Light Blonde in the case of blond, streaked or heavily strained hair.
2. Stir khadi Henna, Amla & Jatropha with 80-90 degree hot water until you have a spreadable paste. If you want an intense, fast color result, add acidic supplements like apple vinegar or lemon juice.
3. Apply the color cream with a brush evenly in your hair: Strand by strand – up to the tips. If you only want to color your roots, spare lengths and tips.
4. Leave the natural hair color between 30 and 120 minutes. The longer it is applied, the darker and stronger the color results. To refresh the color, you only need 15 to 30 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly with clear water.

 

Do not use shampoo for 24 to 48 hours after dying. During this time the color develops its full effect. Then apply khadi hair oiland let it act for 20 minutes to fixate the color pigments. So your khadi hair color will last longer.
